With the purchase of Deer Lake Lodge in June 2021, Sara entered an exciting new chapter when she became a glampground proprietor (a.k.a. professional putterer). Now known as Deer Lake Wilderness Retreat, her vision is to create a community where her guests can relax in nature, reflect on life, and restore their soul. Phase A is well underway with the establishment of a glampground, and phase B will be to introduce workshops with a focus on wellness.
