Grief is a human experience to be honoured, and healing comes from holding space not just for pain, but also for joy.

"I’ve lost the plot" is a British expression that I love, it’s a colloquial way of saying "I don’t know what I’m doing right now."

For now I’m going to put my big girl panties on and ignore my knee jerk reactions to quick-fix my anxiety when life gets difficult.

During this period of mourning I knew that in spite of life’s curve balls and crippling uncertainty, I was exactly where I needed to be.
